Going back to 'The Diary' concept of writing down feelings /thoughts etc, Im reminded of one diary incident back then. I was not seriously into having a diary but then I did so on an off on basis. I remember the time when I was in Jerteh in Kuala Trengganu with my husband, just into our 6 months of marriage - I was not working and so had a lot of time on my hands and so diary writing was 'on' again. I used to write down daily events and also feelings and thoughts etc with the hope that my husband would 'happen ' to read it and understand me better as you know the first year of marriage is the 'crucial getting to know you' and what not.
Being the man that he was ( he passed away 20 years ago) it was not in his make up to read anybody`s diary or mail etc. There were times when I used to purposely keep the diary open on a certain page so as to get the message through, but No, he would never take a second look.
Years later when during one of our after dinner chats, I brought this up and he had a good laugh saying he knew what my intentions were and say how silly I was writing down 'rubbish' as he would call it. Our after dinner chats in a way was our two way blogging if I can call it as it was an open communication on any topic.
On hindsight, I think blogging is good to pen down your thoughts and feelings to share with your loved ones and friends. It brings out the other side of a person`s personality and if someone cannot express those thoughts verbally, putting it down to print is a great way of communication.
So , then I ask myself as to what is it that I want to blog about. To me , my blog will be one of my thoughts , sharing of ideas, my learnings on life and my experiences in the hope that someone can relate and learn from them.
So till then, happy blogging. Hopefully I`m inspired to blog tomorrow
